Australian people have decorated their bodies and their sacred sites with ochre paintings for thousands of years. On my walks I collected stones and ground them on the doorstep stone to my studio. I collected 27 color pigments during my stay, representing my 27 day stay in Bundanon. The colors shine brightly when rubbed onto paper. On the last day of my stay I put the stones back to a specially cleared space in the bush.

Back in Switzerland I covered big sheets of paper with the ochres and showed them in an exhibition.
